TEMBURONG BRIDGE
The structure is a 30 km long bridge in Brunei – Muara district in the Laby Estate area.
It has been designed by ARUP Hong Kong and built by DAELIM Contractor.
HIRUN INTERNATIONAL supplied no. 1500 HIDAMP High Damping Rubber Bearings.

Technicalities
The solution proposed by HIRUN INTERNATIONAL utilized a hard rubber compound with shear modulus G = 1.6 MPa and equivalent viscous damping ξ = 16%.
This compound allowed to minimize the size of the isolators reducing their cost for the same performance in terms of stiffness, design displacement, bearing capacity and damping.
Design, fabrication and tests of the high damping rubber isolators has been performed in accordance with the European Standard EN 15129; type tests and FPC tests have been performed on 20% of the produced pieces as foreseen by EN 15129. Type tests have been certified by the Notified Body ICECON CERT.
The HIDAMP isolators are CE marked
